The campaign
The Story Behind Our Pedals
CBT Aerospatiale was born from a lifelong passion for aviation and mechanical design. Growing up, I was captivated by the complexity of flight and the beauty of precise engineering. Whether it was RC helicopters or full-scale aircraft, my fascination with how things work has driven my career—from product design to CNC machining and beyond.
As the founder of CBT Aerospatiale, my goal is to bring realistic flight simulation to the next level. Flight simulators have always been a great way for enthusiasts and professionals alike to practice and hone their skills, but many of the available controls are simply not realistic enough. That’s where our Bell 407-inspired anti-torque pedals come in.
These pedals are designed for those who demand authenticity in their setup. While they are inspired by the Bell 407 helicopter pedals, we’ve made thoughtful adaptations to make them compatible with flight simulators, ensuring a smooth and precise experience without sacrificing quality. Whether you’re a pilot, helicopter enthusiast, or a flight sim enthusiast, these pedals will take your setup to the next level.
Why We Need Your Support
To bring this project to life, we need your help. The funds from this campaign will cover parts, tools, external resources, packaging, and shipping from overseas. With your contribution, we can ensure that each set of pedals is precisely engineered for realism, using top-tier materials and a design focused on long-lasting durability.
As a small team of experienced engineers, we’ve worked in industries like lighting, mass production, electronics, and sourcing. This broad expertise allows us to ensure that every aspect of the pedal is created with both precision and efficiency. Our goal is to create a product that not only looks authentic but also performs at the highest level of realism.

The Road Ahead
Your support will help us create a high-fidelity, realistic flight simulation experience for anyone who values precision and authenticity. We’re excited to share these Bell 407-inspired pedals with you and bring your simulator setup closer to real-world aviation.
Thank you for supporting CBT Aerospatiale and being a part of our journey. Together, we’ll make realistic flight simulation more accessible and immersive than ever before.
The CBT Aerospatiale anti-torque pedal set is a realistic and high-fidelity flight simulator control designed for enthusiasts and professionals who demand authenticity in their setup. Inspired by the Bell 407 helicopter, this pedal set features both pilot and copilot linked pedals with adjustable spring feedback and precise movement. Each pedal is fully adjustable, ensuring a perfect fit for different users, just like the real thing. These pedals are designed to provide the most realistic feel and control for flight simulation, aiming to replicate the mechanical sensation of actual helicopter pedals.
High-Level Development Plan
-
Prototyping: The next phase is building the first prototypes, which will involve final adjustments to the pedal mechanics and spring feedback systems.
-
Testing & Adjustments: Once we have prototypes, they will undergo extensive testing to fine-tune the pedal response, making sure the feel matches real-world pedals as closely as possible.
-
Manufacturing: Following successful testing, we will move into small-scale production. The funds raised will cover material costs, tools, and external resources necessary for this step.
-
Final Product Launch: Once production is complete, we will distribute the pedals primarily to training facilities, prosumer-level enthusiasts, and flight simulation communities.
What We and Your Backers Expect
-
From Us: We are committed to delivering a product that meets the highest standards of realism and durability. We will keep backers updated throughout the production process and aim to ship the first units as soon as the pedals are fine-tuned and ready.
-
From Backers: Your support will help us cover the cost of materials, tools, and external resources, and allow us to complete the necessary steps to bring the pedals to life. In return, you will receive a high-quality product that reflects the craftsmanship and dedication put into its development.
Business Plan
How This Product Solves a Problem
Many existing flight sim pedals fall short of providing the realistic feel that enthusiasts and professionals require. Our product solves this problem by offering adjustable, precision-controlled anti-torque pedals with spring feedback and linked pilot/copilot functionality, replicating the feeling of actual helicopter controls.
Who Benefits from It
-
Flight Training Facilities: They can offer a more authentic training experience with pedals that closely mirror the Bell 407 helicopter.
-
Prosumer Enthusiasts: Individuals who are serious about flight simulation and want to invest in high-quality, realistic hardware.
-
Helicopter Pilots: Both current and aspiring pilots can use these pedals to practice and hone their skills in a realistic virtual environment.
Budget and Distribution Plan
-
Budget Breakdown: The Kickstarter funds will go toward:
-
Material costs for pedals and components.
-
Tools and machinery required for production.
-
Packaging for shipping.
-
Shipping from overseas to deliver the pedals to backers worldwide.
-
-
Distribution Plan: Initially, we will sell the pedals through Kickstarter, followed by direct sales to training facilities, flight simulation companies, and prosumer-level customers through our website and other online platforms.
Early Sketches or Mock-Ups
We’ve included early CAD models and prototype mock-ups, which visually capture our product’s design and mechanical features.
Research That Supports Our Conclusions
